  1. What part of it makes you sick? The creep husband that sues and says he needs millions to get therapy for his wife and take care of her and maker her well and then after he cashes the check totally ignores her and refuses her even the basics of medical care all the while he’s fathering kids with his live-in adulterous fiancee while all the while there is modest evidence that his abusive actions were most likly what put her in this state in the first place? Maybe it’s the self-righteous atheist judge that seems to think that she’s not worth letting live even when just last month a woman in Kansas City woke up after 20 years in a comma showing that miracles do happen. Could be the fact that the husband only hires doctors that will affirm what he wants to hear, that she’s a hunk of useless brainless humanity even though people on the inside that actually care can tell she is responsive, alert and more than alive. Maybe it’s the method of choice to allow this woman to die, starving her over several weeks until she just ceases to live, something that could land any of us in prison for years if we did that to a cat or dog?

Personally, the think about this that really sickens me is that bad choices by a couple people (husband and judge) have forced an emergency session of Congress while in holiday recess in order to save this woman’s life long enough that hopefully a federal judge with no personal involvment in the case will possibly make a judgement that will keep this woman alive. At least we know that some of the people we elected are good for something. Sorry if this topic seems to bring out a certain tone in me, but I am utterly infuriated by the whole thing.
