Guess what?

We’re married…whoohoo!

Mom says that a lot of people have been looking for us to talk about the wedding and honeymoon so I thought I’d say a little something before we move to MA tomorrow. We won’t have internet up there unless we find the library quick. It’s probably a good thing since we have lots of stuff to do in order to settle in properly…but that’s not what you’re here to read is it?

The wedding went smashingly well. Everything went without a hitch except for the fact that the wedding band jacket for my engagement ring was accidentally left in the car, and when Kyle tried to remedy it, everyone misunderstood what he was trying to say. My maid of honor and Kyle’s sister have pictures up from the ceremony and reception, which I have conveniently put up links to below. My official pictures won’t be back until my new father-in-law is finished with them. I also don’t know when my video will be finished (my uncle does great work).

We went to Hot Springs, NC for most of the honeymoon. We had a lovely little cabin in the middle of nowhere and went rafting, hiking on the Appalachian Trail and took a soak in the mineral spa that’s been around for quite a while. It’s supposedly famous for healing powers…but it really just felt nice to soak my knee for an hour for a fairly cheap price. We also went to Dollywood and Gatlinburg after an evening at my grandparent’s house in Kingston. It was a lot of fun.

Now we are at mom and dad’s and I am frantically sifting through stuff and trying to repack everything for the move tomorrow. Everything is going well so far except that I seem to have strained my left wrist, which is being quite annoying…especially in light of the fact that we are starting our move north tomorrow….very frustrating for me.
