Class went over by about seven minutes because we had a guest speaker (I couldn’t inconspicuously leave the class early since I was sitting in front of the guest speaker on the opposite side of the room from the door), which caused me to miss my bus to the Orange line. I crammed onto the student shuttle that stops about a block away from the orange line. I got off, got confused because I couldn’t see the T stop and got back on the bus. About half a minute later, I found out that I was supposed to get off at that last stop and now I was stuck until the next stop that is two and a half blocks from the green line. It’s after nine in the evening, it’s dark and I’m very tired and frustrated. I get onto the green line and do train juggling to get to North Station just in time to wait an extra hour for the next train going my direction. Once the train gets going, it takes about half an hour to get to Beverly Depot, which is not the best stop for me to go to but is the only one I have access to on the 10:40 train, and get off. Thankfully Kyle was there to pick me up on time this evening (he got lost one time and I had to stand there for an extra 15 minutes) and then it took another 20 minutes or so to finally get home. I ended up with a 2 1/2hr commute yesterday and I was not a happy camper about it esp. since I didn’t get to bed until well after midnight.
If I actually get out of class on time from my Tuesday and Thursday classes, I can make it to the bus, correct T stop and the 9:30 train out of the Depot, which drops me off at the better station for pickup (and it takes an hour less).
OK, so what happened?

Moral of the story – sit at the back of the class and where your glasses. Love you lots!!!
