I hate rotaries.

Well, I can officially join the ranks of you who have been in a car accident. No I am not hurt and neither is Kyle and neither is the lady who ran into us, but I have to admit that it shook me up quite a bit.

We were almost home in Gloucester at the Grant Circle Rotary when it happened. For those of you who do not know how a rotary or round-a-bout works here’s a brief synopsis. A typical rotary has four roads merging into a single circle instead of stopping at a light. Most rotaries have two lanes with the outer lane used for entering and exiting the rotary and the inner lane for travel.

I was traveling in the outer lane as I was getting ready for the next exit when the lady traveling in the inner lane decided to exit the rotary through my car. Thankfully she only took out my driverside turn signal and I put a decent dent in her passengerside door.

I’m not exactly sure what’s going to happen with our insurance (MA has a wierd ‘no fault’ policy as far as auto accidents go) nor do I know when the front light will be fixed. At least it’s not too much damage, and I think that the light can be replaced relatively easily. I just don’t know if it will cost extra money or if it will come out of our insurance.

I have other things to talk about, but working two jobs is keeping me really busy. I started teaching the Biology class this week and will also pick up 3 middle school classes April 23rd. Please pray for strength. Continue to pray about employment for both of us whether here or in the Charlotte area.

Peace and Blessings.

  1. Ouch! I forgot to tell you not to let anyone run into you while in MA. Or anywhere else, for that matter. Consider yourself advised. We’re glad nobody got hurt.
