…That’s what little boys are made of!”
Actually, it’s more like calcium, protein, water, vitamins and trace minerals, but who’s going to get picky?
Many wonderful blessings have happened in the past few days the first and foremost being that the Lord provided a way for the ultrasound to be approved for this past Friday. It was absolutely amazing to see our beautiful gift from the Lord on the screen. And as far as we and the tech can tell, the Lord has blessed us with a son for our firstborn.
I have some pictures on the laptop that I’ll try to post soon (as soon as we figure out what’s wrong with the gallery program and fix it). Some of them are a bit hard to distinguish because the little one was curled up asleep during the picture section and had his hands up in front of his face (He must like to sleep like mama; because I like to sleep with my arms tucked high too). And before you ask, we have not picked out a name yet; we’re praying about a few possibilities to see what the Lord would like us to name this child that He has given to us.
The day before the ultrasound, we had our first birth class and I really liked the instructor. She was extremely informative and funny; I believe that the next 11 weeks are going to be a hoot. We had the Herrs over for a late lunch and visit on Sunday and it was a blessing just to have such wonderful fellowship. I love and appreciate them dearly and am glad to have them nearby again.
This morning was quite fun too. I was working around the house doing some chores before heading out for errand running and the youngun was very awake and moving and kicking a lot. I laid down for a bit and could see the kicking from the outside. Looks like we definitely have an active one on our hands.
That’s all for now; have a wonderful day.
How about Eugene Lanny French (ELF)
