Well, I think that this is as good a time as any to write a quick post.
As the title announces, I am finished with all of my classes here at Queens University of Charlotte, and I’m very excited about it. I have my first, and possibly only, exam tomorrow morning from 8:30-11:30. It’s my CORE 410 ethics exam. It’s been an interesting course, but I”m glad it’s over and will be really glad when I’ve finished the exam. The other possible exam is for microbiology next Monday. The reason it’s only a “possible” is because I currently have a 94-95 in the class. At the beginning of the semester, Dr. M said that if we have a 94 or higher class average before the final exam, we don’t have to take it. I still have some grades out including my last class exam and independent project that I’m waiting to hear the final status of. I’m a little worried about that last exam because I didn’t feel as prepared for it as a I should have been. I took it the Monday after a three day conference in Florence, Alabama and hadn’t had a chance to finish recuperating from the trip before I had to do more studying and take the exam. Oh well, if I have to take the final, I have to take the final. It still means that I”ll only have two finals for my last semester of undergrad.
I’ve received two more rejection letters from medschools, which leaves me with one left: Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. The two MPH applications are also still out (Drexel and Boston). The more I think about it, the more excited I am about the MPH programs. If I don’t get in this coming fall, we’re moving to Boston area for KB’s seminary and I will reapply for school.
Things are in full swing as far as the wedding is concerned. Mom’s taking care of gory details in Knoxville, and I”m nose deep in invitations, which isn’t nearly as bad as everyone says they are.
KB has almost finished the new site design for Neumatikos. All we need to do now is some rearranging with the site address and probably pay a couple of fees. I hope you like it, I sure do.
Anyway, I’m going to go study for my test tomorrow and finish my laundry.
