Prayers Answered

I got a letter in the mail today. Here’s the key points:

Dear Valerie,

On behalf of the faculty of the Boston University School of Public Health, I am delighted to admit you to the Master of Public Health Program for September 2005. Congratulations! We are very proud of our students and feel that each of them, like you, has a special combination of experience and skills. The excellence of our MPH program is reflected in the success of our graduates. We take great pride in training the next generation of Public Health professionals.…School orientation is on August 29 and classes begin September 1.

The Lord is so faithful and good, and he blesses those he loves. On Sunday, mom opened a letter from Drexel University School of Public Health for me and read aloud my acceptance to the program. On the one hand I was thrilled and very sure that public health was the direction that God wanted me to take. The only problem is that Drexel is in Philadelphia, PA and Kyle and I are moving to Manchester, MA at the beginning of August. Before Sunday school started, Kyle and I prayed that we would hear from the other school soon and that God would lead us in the direction he wanted for both of us. I guess that Massachusetts is where we’re supposed to go and that we’re both supposed to be in school. Now all we have to do is get there. Please keep us in your prayers and that the transitions between getting married and moving to a whole new environment will go smoothly.

Peace and Blessings.
