Please Pray

While I am looking for a second part time job to get us through to the end of our lease in June, I’m also looking for full time employment in the Charlotte area. I have been actively searching in the hospital settings as well as public health settings for openings. Today I also looked into some of the other organizations that I have had an interest in such as Care Net, The Institute for Family-Centered Care, Birthright International, and other such non-profit entities which specialize in mother’s and infants (especially unborn infants).

While hunting for leads I came across a position for a Development Director for the Pregnancy Resource Center in Charlotte. The position has been open for about a month and I believe that I would fit thier needs well. It would also give me an opportunity to actively participate in a ministry that I have long wanted to be involved with, namely crisis pregnancy and preserving the sanctity of life of all children. I’ll be sending off my coverletter and resume tomorrow. Please pray that if this is the position that the Lord wants me to have he will make the way clear and that there will be a smooth transition between MA and NC.

In other news, my first day of teaching went well today. I was quite surprised and happy with how it went. I need to go to my Bible Study Group now.
